BLINK HUNT (Selective Visual Memory)
Remember only the lights that matter.
ROUND 9🔊SCORE 9
RULE: GOLD ONLY
BLINK HUNT is MIKIRI's selective visual-memory game. A rule appears first — for example, remember only blue lights, only stars, only edge cells, or only the last flash. Then several lights appear briefly and disappear.
The twist is that you are not trying to memorize everything. You must decide what matters while the lights are visible, ignore decoys, and then tap only the cells that matched the rule. One wrong tap costs a life.

How to play
- Enter a username and choose BLINK HUNT
- Read the rule before each round
- Watch the flashing symbols and remember only the matching cells
- After they disappear, tap only the matching cells
- Clear the round to continue; a wrong tap or timeout costs a life
Difficulty
Early rounds use a small grid and simple color rules. Later rounds add more cells, shapes, edge rules, shadow decoys and last-flash memory. The display time becomes shorter while the answer time also shrinks gradually.
Tips
- Read the rule before looking at the grid
- Do not memorize every light — filter first, remember second
- Group targets by area: top, bottom, left, right
- For the last-flash rule, follow the rhythm instead of the shape
- Shadow lights are intentionally faint; avoid treating every glow as important
What BLINK HUNT actually tests
BLINK HUNT is not about memorising the whole board. You have to pick out only the cells that meet the condition and discard the rest. Deciding what not to remember — selective attention — matters more here than raw capacity.
As the number of targets grows, so does the effort of suppressing the cells that do not qualify. That is why trying to look at everything equally makes you miss more, not less.
Where people get stuck
Trying to hold everything. Fix the condition in mind before you look at the board, and the targets select themselves.
Remembering order instead of position. Order decays fast. Remember the shape the targets make on the board.
Tapping the uncertain ones. Answering only what you are sure of scores better than padding the list.
FAQ
- Q. Is BLINK HUNT free?
- A. Yes. It is free, needs no signup and runs in your phone or desktop browser.
- Q. Is it the same as Human Benchmark Visual Memory?
- A. No. The familiar idea is remembering flashed positions, but BLINK HUNT adds changing rules, decoys and selective attention so you must decide what to memorize.
- Q. What does the score mean?
- A. The main score is the highest round reached. It is a game score, not a medical or sports-performance measurement.
